Après avoir vu le film le jour de sa sortie au cinéma, et après avoir acheté le DVD le jour de sa sortie ...
Aujourd'hui petite séance de This is England mais en Français (option du DVD) et là, malgré un bon doublage, aïe!, le film perd de son authenticité, de son charme et de son émotion donc pour ceux qui n'ont pas encore vu le film :
c'est un petit chef d'oeuvre sur le mouvement skinhead (dans les années 80), il faut le voir en VO absolument !!!!

Mes personnages préférés (en dehors de Shaun le personnage principal) sont Woody et Milky !!!! (un Trojan skinhead et un Rudeboy au grand coeur !!!)

Pour Tommy, la vraie vie commence le vendredi soir.
Ce jeune homme désoeuvré peut alors se consacrer aux trois grandes passions de son existence : le sexe facile, les bières et plus que tout, l'adoration de son club de foot favori, Chelsea. (les 3 B)
Avec ses potes, il en est l'un des plus ardents supporters, toujours prêt à affronter ceux qui ne portent pas ses couleurs.
Et justement, dans quelques jours, Chelsea va se mesurer à l'ennemi de toujours, Millwall...


Pour vous donner l'ambiance du film : un cocktail à base de Trainspotting (pour la narration du personnage), de Arnaques, crimes et botanique (pour la réalisation) et de Hooligans pour le thème, (et avec une petite touche d'American History X -en regardant le film vous comprendrez- )... tout cela donne un très bon film (émouvant, drôle, violent bref un petit chef d'oeuvre cinématographique sur le hooliganisme anglais...)

Ce film est tiré d'un livre de John King...

Football factory est le premier roman écrit par John King. Il a connu un franc succès en Angleterre et a par la suite été traduit dans de nombreuses langues dont le français. Il est paru en France en 1999. C'est le premier tome d'une trilogie composée de La Meute (Headhunters) et Aux couleurs de l'Angleterre (England Away).

Ce récit explore la vie de Tom et de sa bande d'amis, hooligans anglais, fans de Chelsea, qui slalomment entre les bagarres, l'alcool et le sexe.

On découvre ici une fresque sur la société anglaise et la classe ouvrière en particulier, amoureuse de football mais en proie au chômage de masse et au racisme.

Ce roman sera adapté au cinéma en 2004 par le cinéaste anglais Nick Love sous le titre The Football Factory.

I messed up my arm really bad, but still did 5 more shows, was planning ..ing the tour when I fucked up the same arm again. I am at home now and hate missing the rest of the tour. will be back for surgery soon.

It all started when the four friends met. Actually since 2003 they made up playing whole berlin and several places outside. So they became a outrageous live band blewing people's minds by conquering the stage. soon the request for recordings and releases came up.

Producing their stuff just on their own at RDO DRINKING ROOM they've now put out three 7":

First one "Out Of Tune" released on their own label GUITAR MAFIA MUSIC. Second one "Holy Ghost" out on SQUOODGE/DRUNK'N'ROLL. And a split 7" w/ FRONTKICK, released on GMM.

And in October 2006 they released a 12" on wanda records. It features 6 songs. At that moment the full length recordings came to an end and will be released asap.

In 2005 Rik Oldman and Andru Bourbon joined ENEMY ROSE,a project with their mates from THE HEARTACHES from Belgium. But after an EP release with Mercy Killers and a dozen shows they had to quit up.

TV Moerk and Marti Neurotic (FRONTKICK and RDO) founded their creative output named NEUROTIC TV.

Rik Oldman started a new band called "RED SENSATION" in September 2006. Sonny, 2nd guitar player, joined the band early 2007 and completed the band's sound.

You see europe is going to be taken over by all these european PUNKROCK bombs.it's the ultimate PUNKROCK network ready for conquering the world. so watch out for em if you actually haven't heard about them! listening to their music will get your life adorable and worth again.
