the Cabrians
The Cabrians is a group of friends from Mataró that have been involved in the ska music scene since it became popular in Catalonia round the mid nineties.
They start as a music band in 2000. Since their first days they start to be well known for their shows and their funny presence wherever they go.
Always with their sharp and smart suits, The Cabrians have been reaching the top positions in the Jamaican music scene of Catalonia.
Furthermore, they have played as well in other areas of Spain, and they have gone on tour to Italy and France. Nowadays they are celebrating their fifth birthday with the release of their first album Black Momerota and with the release of a single 7 with the great well known Jamaican Dj Dennis Alcapone as well.
Their own way to play traditional Jamaican music has become commonly popular all over Catalonia.
They play Boss Porn Ska, a true festive way of Ska that has their roots on the authentic carnival spirit, and the strength of their greatest influence: The voice of the peoples Prince Buster. Carnival music, rude ska, they fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee with their Boss Porn Lyrics!
Is not just music what you can get from these lads, they will always give you a huge amount of funny and cheeky tales where you can hear about porn affairs, riots, police clashes, drug stories, thieves, prisoners, whores, corruptions in politics, and football thugs as well.
Their Boss Porn Sound follows the steps of the great and unique working class hero Judge Dread.
The Cabrians are well known and respected for their shows. Every time they step in a stage theres a party going on, from the beginning to the end people cant stop dancing and singing to their boss porn hymns.
Good mood, festive spirit, and true lyrics for a generation of youngsters that have grown up with the punk and skinhead spirit.
As a band these cats never walk alone, wherever they play they are followed by their supporters, who never stop dancing or singing instead of for having a beer or getting a chick.

Les membres de Los Granadians ont franchi la porte d'une dimension secrète menant vers le rocksteady et l'early reggae.
Lorsque ces 6 espagnols, reggae boys dans l'âme, (look skinhead/suedehead/soul boys et 60's : jean étriqué, pull en laine et lunettes en verres soucoupes), qui n'ont pas plus de 30 ans, branchent leurs instruments, on explore le temps.
Des années d'analyse de Jackie Mitoo et Toots and the Maytals auront permis de former ce reggae anachronique, à la chaleur sidérale.
Les ondes terriennes se couvrent de sable, de vieilles cadillacs et d'une foule hypnotisée dans la danse.
Los Granadians a enregistré son dernier album en mono, pour étaler son « Reggae Clam Clam » dans l'ondulation des hanches, leurs voix suaves dans le bercement d'une plage au soleil 1960.
Le magnétisme de ce groupe, qui maîtrise toutes ses ambitions, s' exerce immédiatement sur les fans d'early reggae, les rude boys et les skinheads qui voyagent agréablement en pays connu et en bonne compagnie.
Los Granadians sont candidats pour représenter l'Espagne à l'EUROVISION !!!!

SKA LILLOIS : GOTHAM CT
Gotham CT, c'est 10 musiciens qui jouent du ska essentiellement instrumental.
L'histoire a commencé en 1999 dans la cave de Josselin, ils étaient 5 : Arnaud (Batterie), Josselin (Guitare), Guillaume (Basse), Tommy (Trombone), Nico (saxo) puis 6 (Alain est arrivé juste après le début).
Puis c'est le premier concert (15 m², 30 personnes + le groupe).
Puis ils sortent de la cave pour aller jouer dans les hauts lieux de Lille : Les imposteurs, le Tipy (avec entre autres René Binamé)...
Petit à petit, l'effectif du groupe prend forme: Clément arrive à la trompette, Kat au clavier, Dahmane aux percus et Wolfy à la trompette.
Depuis l'an 2000, ils se produisent régulièrement en concert, essentiellement dans la métropole lilloise, mais également dans le nord, en Belgique, en région parisienne et dans tous les lieux qui veulent bien les accueillir (et où ils veulent bien aller, il ne s'agit pas de jouer pour ou devant n'importe qui!).
Aujourd'hui le groupe a environ 100 concerts et 2 albums au compteur.
